A 3 mile walk which will take 1.5 to 2 hours with a mix of suburban life, industry old and new, and natural landscapes in both Slaithwaite and neighbouring Linthwaite.
Starts at the Commercial Inn in Slaithwaite, passes through Spa Park and up to Linthwaite Hall founded in 1600. From Banks Road follow the Colne Valley Circular across fields until dropping back down past Linthwaite Clough School and the shops at Linthwaite to the valley bottom by Titanic Mill. Admire the glorious slopes of the garden on the opposite bank of the canal.
Then follow the Huddersfield Canal towpath back into Slaithwaite.
