Founded in 1964, the Colne Valley Tree Society is a volunteer‑led group dedicated to encouraging the creation of new woodland through planting trees in the Colne Valley.
Volunteer sessions run on Saturday mornings throughout the year: winter being the main planting season, while summer sessions are spent maintaining previous sites, removing guards, and helping young trees establish.
The Colne Valley Tree Society is always happy to hear from new volunteers, as well as landowners interested in exploring tree planting on their land.
